President

Toshe Zafirov is one of the founders of the Association, following the conclusion of President Stevo Pendarovski’s mandate after serving five years as Deputy Chief of Staff and Advisor on Domestic Politics to the President of North Macedonia.

With more than a decade of experience in the civil sector, Zafirov has worked for several civil society organizations, including the Balkan Civil Society Development Network (BCSDN) and the Progress Institute, where he served as a project coordinator and later as a program director for numerous domestic and international projects with regional and partner countries across Europe, under the auspices of the EU. As a Program Director and Researcher, his focus has been on youth political education, minority integration and participation in civil society, the reconciliation process in the region, democracy development, and digital media and communications.

His primary role at the Presidential Center is to promote the Association's cooperation and visibility at all levels, organize and coordinate its overall activities, and ensure the implementation of its programs, projects, and objectives.

Zafirov graduated with a degree in Political Science from the “Iustinianus Primus” Faculty of Law at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, and holds a Master’s degree in Public Relations from the “Iustinianus Primus” Faculty of Law.
